Chia Jelly

Okay I'm not sure if I'm behind the times here, but this recipe is genius! Its delicious jelly without all the added sugar. This recipe contains only 4 ingredients, and they are great for our skin. Chia seeds, fruit of your choice, lemon juice, and honey ( optional ).

Chia seeds are loaded with antioxidants (anti-aging), fiber (gut health-acne), and fatty acids (anti-aging/inflammation). 

All fruits, citrus, and honey are loaded with antioxidants which is great for anti-aging, as the main reason we age is from oxidative stress. 


Chia Jelly:

2 cups fruit of your choice

2 tablespoons chia seeds

1/2 lemon squeezed

honey to taste (optional) 


1. add fruit to pot and turn the stove on medium-high heat. Let the fruit cook down for a few minutes.

2. once the fruit starts letting out juice, start mashing the fruit to your desired consistency (this is where you can use a mesh strainer if you're not wanting and fruit chunks).

3. add chia seeds and stir.

4. add honey to your desired taste.

5. store in the fridge for up to a week. 


There you go! This was so quick and easy to make, and way healthier than normal jelly.
